My name is Angie Highhouse. I graduated from Great Lakes Institute of Technology in 2002 after earning a certificate as a Veterinary Assistant. After school I was employed at Pet Animal Hospital in Lakewood, NY for 2 years. At that time I found employment with the Warren County Humane Society where I encountered some of my most rewarding and challenging work. While working at the Humane Society I also worked part time for Kinzua Veterinary Clinic. After about a year and a half, I became employed with the Kinzua Veterinary Clinic full time. During this time I pet sat for a number of faithful clients and some I still do. At this point in my life I need a job that is flexible but fulfills my love for animals. I thought this would be the perfect way to meet both needs. I know many people feel very strongly for their pets and treat them as a member of their family, as they should. I know myself that I would feel more comfortable knowing that there was someone that I could trust to take care of my animal when I wasn’t available.
